APR manufactures replacement rod bolts for many popular important domestic sport compact engines that made of premium grade 8740 chrome moly steel and heat treated to 200,000 psi.Threads are rolled after to ensure optimum fatigue strength. They are far Superior to OEM fasteners in terms of durability and service life-fully capable of handling the extra stress of high combustion pressure engines.For extreme application,rod bolts made of special ARP2000 materials(rated at a 220,00 psi normal tensity strength) are available,Including those with patented Wave-Loc design. Special high strength bolts also available for after market connecting rods.
